Welcome to The GP Forum Podcast!
The GP Forum podcast is a panel discussion on General Paper related issues. I am your host Tsering Wangyal. And with me, each week, will be a panel of guests drawn from our JJC English department and whenever possible from other departments as well. In future we also hope to include other resource people from relevant backgrounds and organise recordings of live question and answer sessions with students..
These discussion are intended for the benefit of our GP students, to help them develop the ability to look at issues from different perspectives and appreciate the diversity of opinions that exists about these issues, and the facts and possibly the fictions behind them. At times, teachers will play the the devil’s advocate to enable discussion of extreme viewpoints and opinions. We hope that listeners will both enjoy these discussions and derive academic benefit from them. We will do our best to ensure the facts and figures you will hear in these podcasts are as correct and up to date as possible.
Each podcast will focus on a particular General Paper topic and this week, we will be looking at ‘The State of Sport Today’. And, to discuss this, with me are my colleagues, Mr. Chan Kok Heng, Mr. Darren Chan Chi Png and Mr. Tim Dore.
